iAlignCalc 1.21

iAlignCalc is a utility designed for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch that facilitates the calculation of machine shaft alignment corrections. Its features include various correction methodologies such as the two inverted dial method, the face-rim method, and the double radial method. Additionally, it provides thermal growth calculations for different materials and supports assessments of angular, parallel, and combined misalignments.

Version 1.2 introduces several enhancements tailored for iPhone users, including an interactive Shaft Alignment Specification aligned with NASA standards, comprehensive tolerance tables and charts, and a report generation feature.

The reporting capabilities encompass PDF output with options to incorporate user signatures, sketches via an integrated sketch pad, voice recordings with audio attachments, and the inclusion of contextual information such as plant location and maps. Users can attach up to five images sourced from the camera, photo library, or screenshots of alignment calculations. The reports can be emailed directly or saved on disk for access from a computer. Printing via AirPrint is also supported. Additionally, the report can contain notes, text annotations, and utilize speech-to-text functionality (available exclusively on iPhone 4S).

Version 1.3 introduces a session management feature that allows users to save individual alignment calculations and retrieve them later in a tabular format sorted by date and machine name. Each session can be revisited for further analysis or record-keeping.
